It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wanda Gail Sheehan, who left us peacefully on February 11, 2025. Born on November 13, 1944, in Spokane, WA, to Edward and Martha (Heiydt) Scott.

In loving memory of Wanda Gail Sheehan. Beloved mother, sister, and friend to everyone she met.

After high school, Wanda joined the Army, after discharge, she began her family and raised two boys. After her boys joined the Navy, she dedicated her life to helping others. Wanda retired at 78 from home health care aide, becoming like family to the people she served.

Wanda was a proud and dedicated member of the Aztec SDA Church, where she taught youth classes and many other volunteer positions. Wanda was an avid hiker and rockhound and spend many hours "wandering" the hills, loving every minute. Every year she looked forward to meeting her siblings in Reno or Vegas for a reunion. She always had a puzzle to work on. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her and celebrated for a life well lived.

Wanda is preceded in death by son Dustin Allen, parents Edward and Martha Scott, and brothers Alan Scott and Vernon Scott.

She is survived by son Kennedy Allen (Natalie), brother Gary Scott (Kay), sisters Nancy Slipper (John), Barbara Kennedy (Bill), and Carol Jones, grandchildren Kahlan, Daeron, Kendra, Daryl, Matthew, and Cheyenne, greatgrandchildren Kaeldra, Jaeden, Rylan, Collin, and Molly, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be held at Aztec Cemetery followed by services at Aztec Seventh Day Adventist on February 26, 2025, at 12:00 PM.

Pallbearers: Kennedy Allen, Daeron-Devon VanVleet, Kendra Allen, Carol Jones, Monica Armenta, and Natalie Allen

Memorials and donations may be made to a Veterans Support Organization of choice.

We all should strive to enrich the lives of those around us: just as Wanda did all of ours.

                                                                                                   Rest easy mom
