Wilfred Ernest "Ellie" Yazzie

Wilfred “Ellie” Ernest Yazzie, 58, of Farmington, NM, peacefully passed away on December 17, 2023, in Farmington. He was born on October 14, 1965, in Farmington to the late Mary White Cly and Peter Yazzie. Wilfred is survived by his children: Ashlynn, Alanda “Petey”, Kristen, Michael, and Matthew; cherished grandchildren: Alius, Ashton, Dayelin, Kaden, and Amiah; and his siblings: Vangie Lansing (Russell), Clarence Cly (Debbie), Herbert Cly (Stella), and Harrison Cly. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, Rosemary Lee and brothers, Johnny Cly and James Cly.

Wilfred had a delightful sense of humor and enjoyed making people smile with his jokes. Wilfred will be deeply missed by his family. 

A funeral service will be held in Wilfred’s honor on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 10 am at Faith Family Church in Farmington, NM. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Cemetery. The Farmington Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
