William Slack

William Ira Slack passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2024. Bill was born on June 21, 1938 in Hutchinson, Kansas to John and Helen Slack. He grew up in Larned, Kansas but spent the last 50 years of his life in Farmington. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved music, and was loved for his sense of humor. Bill is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dixie Slack; sister Edith Horner; sons James Slack, Travis (Starr) Martin, and Kevin (Heather) Slack; daughters Terri (Claude) Serrano, Tanya Hargis, Kim (Seth) Tanner, and Mitzi Miranda; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Per Bill's wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
